This documentation is intended to guide customers in upgrading DG800 Pro/DG900 Pro series functions/arbitrary waveform generators

Applicable machine models include DG821 Pro,DG822 Pro,DG852 Pro,DG902 Pro,DG912 Pro,DG922 Pro

Firmware will be updated from time to time on RIGOL official website, you can visit the following URL to download the latest firmware of DG800 Pro/DG900 Pro series:

【 Note 】

	- The current version number can be viewed through About in Utility.

	- Please ensure that the USB flash drive can be read correctly, DG800 Pro/DG900 Pro series requires FAT32/NTFS format USB flash drive.

	- During the upgrade, please do not power off and do not pull out the USB flash drive.

	  Otherwise, the instrument will not work properly, affecting your use.

	- The instrument cannot be in remote mode during the upgrade process (that is, do not connect the USB data cable, network cable, etc.).

	- After some versions are upgraded, the previously saved status files cannot be used. Before the upgrade, record the necessary Settings.

	- The degrade operation is not supported.

【 Upgrade Procedure 】

	1. Copy the upgrade file AFGUpdate.GEL to the root directory of the USB flash drive.

	2. Insert the USB flash drive into the USB port of the DG800 Pro or DG900 Pro.

	3. Start up, click the "Save" button at the lower right corner of the instrument screen, 
       or press the "Save/Recall" button on the right side of the instrument keyboard board to open the storage interface.
       Select the path as "USB Disk (D)", select "AFGUpdate.GEL" in the directory, click the "Update" button in the lower right corner, 
       the progress bar will appear on the screen, and the instrument will start to upgrade.

	4. After the upgrade is complete, the device will automatically restart.

	- If the upgrade cannot be performed, please contact RIGOL technical support at 4006 200 002.
